Methodology
IVA provides two modes of education; e-learning and blended learning. You can choose to broaden your education in your preferred security and/or martial arts field and take out as academic degree with our online courses, or you can blend with your online courses also practical professional courses in security and Krav-Maga/martial arts held at our Academy in Israel. The security and Krav-Maga courses are held once a year by IVA's Elite Security and Krav-Maga/martial arts Instructors at the Academy. Both modes of study utilizes the IVA platform to enable students from all around the world to access Academic studies in the fields of security and Krav-Maga/martial arts. e-IVA offers IVA's students a virtual learning environment with endless possibilities, accessible from wherever, whenever, combined with professional course's.
The e-IVA platform was designed by the IVA Institute to be interactive, simple, advanced and user friendly, ensuring access to quality e-learning for all students.
Students who select the e-learning mode of study do not need to attend classes physically, however online module work assignments will make up a portion of their final grade. Furthermore, e-learning students can choose to defend their thesis online or when they arrive in Israel during one of the professional courses offered at the Academy, through the e-IVA platform.
Practical Training Sessions
IVA Institute's students are encouraged to be actively training in martial arts during the course of their studies. Weekly Training hours will contribute to fulfilling the work requirement for the courses in security and Krav-Maga/martial arts. This activity is highly beneficial as it offers students the opportunity to practically apply what they are studying.
Practical Workshops
In our mode of blended learning, our workshops offer the unique opportunity to engage in Academic studies and allow students access to acquire a practical professional degree in: basic Security course, Personal Protection (basic, advanced, team and commander courses), Facility Security course, Maritime security course and Air Marshal course. All this, together with professional tactical Krav-Maga courses: basic Tactical Krav-Maga, intermediate, advanced, Tactical Krav-Maga instructor's course, TKMG personal protection instructor's course, law-enforcement Haganah Atzmit instructor's course and TKMG military instructor's course. These sessions cover the more practical elements of the courses.

IVA Institute offers its students an innovative method of study, the distance learning path combined with security and Krav-Maga/martial arts physical courses held at our Security Academy in Israel. This method enables students to perform all their studies in an independent self-studying manner. Students will hand in coursework and seminars and the program will be concluded with preparing a final thesis for Masters Degree and dissertation for Doctorate Degree.
